Pips & Lies

No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour

Pips & Lies is played against other people. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or for abusive players. You agree not to:

• Choose a username that is obscene, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that impersonates another person, a public figure or the developer.
• Harass, threaten, bully or discriminate against another player through any part of the game, including emotes.
• Exploit bugs, automate play or manipulate ranked results.
• Attempt to gain access to another player's account, or to the game server or database.

Reports of objectionable content and abusive behaviour are reviewed and acted on as promptly as reasonably possible. Accounts that break these rules may have their name removed, their progress reset, or the account suspended permanently and without refund. You may appeal a suspension by emailing jonas.fja@gmail.com.

Reporting and blocking

Every player can report and block any opponent. In a lobby, tap the menu beside a player's name; during a match, tap the shield button. Blocking prevents the two accounts from being placed at the same private or ranked table again. Blocked players can be reviewed and unblocked under Privacy & Account.

Your account

• Guest play requires no email address. Guest profiles and their progress are deleted 30 days after they are created.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what happens under your account.
• One account per person. Do not share an account, and do not use a second account to avoid a suspension or to influence ranked results.
• You can delete your account and its data at any time under Privacy & Account. Deletion is permanent.

Your content

The only content you create in Pips & Lies is your public player name. You keep whatever rights you have in it, and you grant permission to display it to other players, on the leaderboard and in match history for as long as your account exists. You confirm that you have the right to use the name you choose.

The game itself

• Pips & Lies is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will be available at all times or free of faults. Matches are held in server memory, so a server restart ends any match in progress.
• Ratings, trophies, statistics and cosmetic items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and may be adjusted or reset if they were obtained by breaking these rules.
• The game contains no gambling. No real money is wagered, and nothing in the game can be won or lost for money.
• The app, its artwork, its name and its code belong to the developer. Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer them.

Changes and ending the agreement

These terms may change as the game changes. Material changes are shown in the app and must be accepted before playing again. You may end this agreement at any time by deleting your account and removing the app.
